Valoree Althoff, PRP, CP

Ms. Althoff joined the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP) in 2010. Valoree obtained the Registered Parliamentarian credential in 2013 and the Professional Registered Parliamentarian credential in 2015. She is also a Certified Parliamentarian with the American Institute of Parliamentarians and obtainer her Teachers credential in 2020. She has served as the New Mexico State Association of Parliamentarians (NMSAP) President from 2015-2021, Vice-President, Historian, and Education Chair. Valoree was elected as NAP District 6 Director from 2016-2017and 2019-present, serving the states of NM, TX, OK, LA, and AR. She is currently serving the NAP on the Membership Retention and Extension Committee. Valoree has taught various seminars including Robert’s Rules of Order Basics (a two-day course), Handling Motions and Amendments, Using the Agenda to Your Advantage, The Chair is in Doubt: Voting Tips and Tools, Creating and Filling Blanks, The President: The Most Least Powerful in the Room, Motion, Fiduciary Duties, and Privileged Motions.
